MILLFEST
Each spring, the museum hosts Millfest - a family event celebrating the history of the mill and the pioneer heritage of the region. Millfest is held the first weekend in May and features guided tours of the mill in operation. Professional millers run the mill (without grain), and tours are available for visitors age 13 and older. Other activities include a traditional arts fair - including a quilt show, live musical entertainment, and great food. Swedish Genealogy Workshops
The museum hosts regular online workshops on Swedish Genealogy to help interested individuals to explore their historical family roots.
More detailed information as these are scheduled will be available here or at the museum's website at www.oldmillmuseum.org.

OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTMAS
December 10, 2022 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Children can enjoy old-fashioned crafts, decorate sugar cookies, and take a moment to write that letter to Santa! Santa himself strolls the grounds, listening to the wishes of kids of all ages. A shepherd tells the age-old Christmas story. The popular Smoky Valley Drama Team performs seasonal drama. Tour guides will be on hand for guided tours in the flour mill. Between activities, everyone can enjoy delicious holiday refreshments and shop for those special gifts at the museum's gift shop.
